This Telethon is about being ‘BIG' not in stature or size but ‘BIG' in effort! Together we can all do something to make a difference for Kiwi kids who need a hand up to reach their potential at school and in life.

DO SOMETHING DAFT FOR DOSH!!

• Make it crazy - how about a "BIG wear something crazy day?" Have your staff dress in their PJ's or as their favorite action hero or celebrity. Back to front day or dress retro 70's like Telethons of old.

• The BIG bake off - Why not organise everyone to bake their favorite cakes, cookies or slice. Charge an entry fee or a tasting fee. Whether they bake a small windowless building or prove themselves master bakers it's all about having fun. Then auction of the wears. A great yet simple way to fundraise, and very yummy!

• Get your boss involved - Maybe get them to offer their office or another of their company perks - auction off to the highest bidder. Better still challenge the boss to do a dare and get everyone to put in the money and the boss then has to match it!

• Wage donation - Contribute a day's wages.

• Parking Fee - Why not charge for one day everyone who uses the work car park!

• The BIG Excuse - Keep a jar in reception and money goes into a jar for every poor excuse given at work! You could also include a swear jar!

• Coffee for cash? - Coffee bad at work? No coffee machine in your smoko room? Why not find someone with one, borrow a son or daughter or any willing volunteer to brew up a storm, and charge for every cup made. Come up with your own new coffee name. Biggachino! Latte-athon or BIG flat white!!

• Work in a small business surrounded by other small businesses? Why not challenge your business neighbours to a friendly competition like street cricket, ping pong or even fooze ball, or best still make the challenge about who can come up with the most money!

• Cooking for cash - Want to show off your culinary expertise? Whether you set up a BBQ at work and BBQ a storm or bring in your creations. Charge your colleagues for your delights, better still challenge them to a cook off, with all proceeds going to KidsCan .

• Who's the BIG baby? Get all the staff to bring in a baby picture, and donate to vote which adult belongs to each baby picture!

• The BIG used book, CD DVD/Video Sale - Haven't looked at them in years? Why not bring them to work and purchase someone else's previously loved booty!
