Merely mention the word "Telethon" to a New Zealander over 20 and they can't help but look back and smile! They recall the pandemonium, the song, the celebs, the phone bank, the totals board, the conga line and the all-nighter.

In these segments, we revisit such magic telethon moments through the eyes of ten well-known & loved Kiwis who played pivotal roles in iconic Telethons of yesteryear. It is envisaged these Kiwis represent a number of telethons, moments, and Kiwis across NZ.

These moments are hosted by our very own John Campbell, in his very own inimitable style. John is inquisitive & encouraging — again in his own trademark style. The moments are part endearing, jovial, insightful and conversational.

The Kiwi 'telethon' icon, may recall how they fundraised, or how they stayed up to watch all through the night or the story behind Eric Estrada's push up dare or what happened behind the scenes on the set. And all NZ smile.
