Voting and Donation Competition Terms and Conditions

Voting and making of Donations

• Voting and making of donations is in accordance with instructions given on air during the Big Night In Telethon (Vote or Donation). The making of a Vote or Donation is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
• Any Vote or Donation will be at the cost of the participant and in relation to text messages will cost 99c from NZ mobile networks within New Zealand. Other costs are as per usual communication charges.
• The Vote or Donation will be deemed to have been received at the time it is entered into the Big Night In Telethon database and not when made by the participant.
• The participant making the Vote or Donation must hold the account for the home or business landline or mobile phone or must instead have permission from the account holder to make the Vote or Donation.
• The time periods in which a Vote or Donation can be made will be announced on air on the Big Night In Telethon or on this website.
• A Vote or Donation received outside of the time period announced on air on the Big Night in Telethon or this website may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of Big Night In Limited. No refunds will be given for Votes or
• Donations that are deemed invalid.
• Any form of automated text message is invalid.
• No responsibility is accepted for non-receipt of any Vote or Donation for whatever reason.

Prizes

• If the Vote or Donation relates to an event promoted on the Big Night In Telethon or on this website as an event where the participant is eligible to enter into a draw to win a prize, the participant agrees that by making the Vote or Donation that Big Night In Limited may enter the participant in the relevant draw, but is not bound to do so.
• It is free to enter the draw for any prize and the cost of making the Vote or Donation will not in anyway be used to fund the purchase of any of the prizes.
• The winner of each prize will be randomly selected at the time stated on this website or will be announced on air during the Big Night In Telethon.
• The winner of each prize will be notified after the draw for that prize is made.
• All prizes remain the property of Big Night In Limited until claimed by the prize winners. If, for whatever reason, a prize is not claimed by the original prize winner on or before 9 September 2009, Big Night In Limited (at its sole discretion) may declare the original draw null and void and may conduct further draws as may be deemed necessary to distribute unclaimed prizes or may cancel the draw altogether.
• Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
• In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond Big Night In Limited's control, Big Night In Limited reserves the right to produce a similar prize of the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws.
• It is a condition of entry that the winner consents to their details being announced on air during the Big Night In Limited Telethon, on this website and on the website of the sponsor of winner's prize.
• Big Night In Limited's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

General

These terms and conditions apply to all voting and donation competition segments of the Big Night In Telethon. In particular, but without limitation, they apply to:

• Big Audition voting;
• Fresh'n Fruity Challenge voting; and
• 2 degrees mobile celebrity phone out.
